Canada Grand Prix F1 Montreal 06/10/11 - 06/13/11
About the time to start thinking about attending the only F1 in North America this year. Depending on which hotel, I'm willing to pick the most affordable for that time of the year (for F1 period, all hotels raise prizes as it's the biggest event of the year in that area). Therefore the rate would be about $130 a night, about $350-400 for three nights.
F1 tickets are still for takes, I would choose the ones at the hairpin or the first corner, though either one would come out to $500 for a weekend pass (looking at the F1.com website, rates can only get cheaper).
Add gas money and/or rental and the weekend trip would be $800-1000 with everything included, depending on where is everybody coming from.
I'm from Boston but willing to meet a larger group somewhere else.

I did the hairpin a couple years ago and it was a great place to sit. Lots of day partying and fist pumping to be had at pretty much any time haha. If you have never been to an F1 race you will be surprised at how loud it is....no matter what anyones told you. Its awesome.

I went to the Brithish GP at Silverstone in 2010. It would be cool to see Montreal this year. I might be in.

I won't know for another month or two if I can make it. Hoping to put enough money away to get the ball rolling soon though. Did this sell out last year? Hotel is what's going to be the biggest pain in the ass as it gets closer.
