    Default Seeking a little advice on a speeding ticket

    Been a long time since I've gotten a speeding ticket. Got one today up in Liberty/Sullivan Co., NY.

    79 in a 65. Came with a 2nd page -Supporting Desposition - speed verified by laser, model LTI-ULTRALYTE. He said he was on an overpass and tagged me.

    My question is: Would you plead not guilty in an effort to show up, and get it reduced? Its 2 hrs from my home. Or am I just done on this one, and its not worth trying to fight it especially with the supporting deposition and at this distance?

    I am a very lucky boy when it comes to speeding, I have been done twice. I have only been driving a year, first time was 40ish in a 30 and recently I did nearly 50 in a 30 on a big road. No idea how I haven't got points or a ticket.

    it'll end up costing you the same $$ amount in the end most likely...but, the points on your license could be drastically reduced.

    sorry to hear Mike. My little brother used to drive that way when he went to Syracuse University. I'm guessing he got you on route 17? Ironically, he always took that route because of less cops vs. taking rt.90 all the way.
