where can I buy a helmet in Bklyn/Queens/Nassau
Want to do my first DE this summer and need an auto helmet - not a bike one which I can find anywhere.

try TKX Performance - Long Island's European Specialists, Porsche, BMW, Lamborghini, Ferrari, Mercedes-Benz, I was there a couple of weeks ago and I beleive i saw boxes of Helmets stacked in the shop.

I think Shane is on it right there^, most tracks will have a good selection at their on site shops so you can probably just pick it up the day-of and I am pretty sure they don't up the price just because an event is on.

makes sure its SA2005 and look into a chatterbox system for it...so you don't have to yell thru the helmet to your instructor.
Understeer is when you hit the wall with the front of the car and
Oversteer is when you hit the wall with the rear of the car.
Horsepower is how fast you hit the wall,
Torque is how far you take the wall with you.
