Awesome

That run is amazing. I almost made my girlfriend throw up when I ran it. What camera/mount setup are you using?

I know, I actually thought I would have to take it a bit slower at night but thanks to the moving headlights on my car I was able to take everything at fullspeed since there was almost no traffic - just had one SUV in front of me at one point, but they moved to the shoulder when I came though (was already past the second dam at the end where you see another car). Definitely gave the tires a workout.
I used a GoPro wideangle. I had planned on either waiting for an HD camera before purchasing one, or jumping on the group buy some people here were talking about, but that afternoon when I decided to take that detour on my trip back I picked it up at a vendor at Road Atlanta. From there it was a race against time to get up to the Tail before dark. When I got to the town on 129 (Robbinsville I think) I rushed to try and figure out both how to use the thing, and also how I was going to mount it. I used a suction cup mount on the upper part of the windshield on the drivers side, and for the rear I used the 3m tape mount on the underside of the lip above the license plate (somewhat hidden away). Since both were rushed both were not ideal (and now I have like a cemented mount base on my rear) however the did the job. In fact the rear pleasantly surprised me since I could not get the camera to face parallel to the ground (it was oriented skyward), next time though I need to set the audio sensitivity to high to get the exhaust better. I am going to play around with it next time I take the car out though, should perfect it.
Oh, and thanks again for the Sony Vegas tip! I will look into it.'09 E93 M3 - Dropped with RPI Full GT Race
