    I see, yeah the CL600 burns a lot of fuel and high maintenance, but its got a huge cabin so pay-offs, I always find it interesting to see what business's people justify private jets for, I have a friend that has one for his cement company and another just for personal convenience. I too like LuxGlobal would like to own a private jet, but I lean now a days to seeing that fractional ownership is the best option for individuals, if I some day can afford that.

    Work for my inlaws Venture Capitalist Company overseeing all investment and looking for new oportunities (basically spend my days looking at business plans, looking around for new ideas and sitting on board meetings), but also manage the flight department for the company. The CL600 operating cost are huge, but you can get one cheap in the market now. For our needs it's more than enough. If I were to get one now...hands down the CL300 would be my choice...great airplane.

    I have considered the mustangs I think it falls short in a few categories and they are older technology. I will check out the Piaggio though.

    Must be awesome for you to fly a challenger 600! I can only imagine..

    I am curious to see about the Honda jet, its a radical change for aviation to mount engines the way Honda is doing with their jet. I image after some tweaking and a few years of the jet, the Honda Jet will be a very good plane. As HoneyBadger has stated, the Mustang and Piaggio are both great starter planes, if your needs are very minimal, you could even consider a Pilatus which has even lower cost. Love the way the Piaggio looks, really a unique plane, to bad the jet version of the Piaggio never came to fruition. HoneyBadger, what industry are you in that you operate a Challenger 600?

    I would not consider the Honjet just yet, until it has some years in the market. I currently operate a Challenger 600 Part 91 for the business. Have you considered Citation Mustang? Operating cost on Cessna are very good. Another missing from your list would be the Piaggio...cabin is great.

    I hear very good things about them, however like every machine, there are pros and cons based on intended use.
    My involvement is simply as an owner and someone who likes to crunch numbers.
