Default Music in luxury goods stores

What are your preferences for music in luxury stores, specifically high end jewelry/watches.

We own a shop and im always messing around with the music.

I like NWA, maybe some cypress hill....

To be honest, I have never paid attention to the music.

Old blues, jazz and soul if I could decide.

    Sam Cooke, Frank Sinatra etc.

Lmao. In a jewlery store? That'd be weird unless it was a hip hop jewlery store. I like your taste in music tho

do you guys sell higher end watches than what is on your website? Not trying to be a bitch, but when you refer to luxury goods/watches, I think more along the lines of Breitling, B&R, Tag, etc...like what you'd find in a Tourneau or other AD.

Not sure the music really matters, customers should be more interested in what's in the cases, not what's on the speakers. It should also be low enough volume so no one has to talk over the music. Some dealings should only be heard by the customer and their sales rep.

I was in Diesel on sunday trying on jeans with the lady and they had loud house music blasting and employees running around. The place was a wreck jeans everywhere. I had to leave the store and go outside and just sit down the whole situation was making me sick. Maybe that works on teenage consumers but have to say I hate hearing techno while shopping. Just couldn't focus. I would much rather hear some Sinatra on low levels.
