Default Headphone Fans - (Quasi) Audiophiles?

Hey L4P, would just like to see if there's any fans of full sized head phones to listen to your favorite tunes while working, resting, or playing.

Currently I have a Sennheiser HD 650 and AKG K702 hooked up to Personus Audiobox and HP4 Amp. Retired my Sennheiser 477s and 555's and let my family use them. I'm enthusiastic but by no means a true proper audiophile.

If you got any pics of your cans - post them up!

too weird man... Suby guys and headphone nerds?

I am a music major in school and have been a budding "audiophile" since 13 or so.

    My Rigs:

In-Ear Monitors: JH Audio JH-5 PRO (for live work, studio work & practicing)
Headphone Rig: Little Dot MK III -> AKG K701 (also have some old Sony MDR700 from back in the day)
Monitors: Presonus Firepod -> KRK PR-10s/ Yamaha HS-80m

Haha, pretty cool; I don't have any cans but I've also got a pair of JH Audios (7s), UE TripleFi 10s, and Shure 215s.

I've also been saving up for a pair of B&W CM5 bookshelves too.

Sorry not trying to highjack the thread but is it a weird thing that I adapt to music in a later age? I recently change my major to audio engineering and have been in love with music ever since maybe around 18. I am 22 now. What you guys are doing are exactly what I want to do, except not just through headphones but through speakers in a large environment.. What would be a really good headphone to start?

Very big bump from over 1/2 year.
I'm no where near studying audio engineering - although that sounds like a very cool field to get into for audio mastering, music production, music videos, sound production, movies, televisions, news, etc.

    I've had 3 Sennheisers now.
    First was a $99 set - Sennheiser HD 477s.
Next was Sennheiser 555s which was an awesome entry level headphone set. It was around $160 or so. I highly recommend this as your first set if they still produce this.
The current cans I'm still using daily is the 650 HDs. $500 but worth every penny.
I rarely use the AKG 701s. They don't have a high tolerance from the amps.
    Hope this helps.
