I've been in denial, so I'm listening to it for the first time right now on Spotify. Jay's last good album was 'blueprint' and I really dont like Yeezys demeanor, but seems like they did well together on this album, i'll be listening to it for a while now. It's been hard to come across a good album lately, hopefully the music industry recovers sometime soon.

I was pretty disappointed by this album. I think the only song I liked was ''lift off'' with Beyonce... Otis was OK when coupled with the video, I thought it was pretty creative but overall a very ''meh'' experience...
Cheers

This record is not one you can listen once or twice and base your rating on that. I was disappointed at first too. Everytime a new album comes out and I feel that it deserves a shot at it, I just leave it in my car's cd player and listen to it for a good week. I've done the same with this. I can confirm it has worked on me very well, I went from liking 1-2 tracks, whereas now I -dislike- 1 or 2 tracks.
It all flows together very well. No church, lift off, ni**as in paris, otis, gotta have it, new day, murder in excellence........ all excellent tracks! In fact, two tracks I don't like are welcome to the jungle (don't know why) and Who gon stop us (I've heard that sample years ago and I used to like it, doesn't seem right with some lyrics on it.) It's from Flux Pavillon's I can't stop for those who are interested.
All in all, it's worth a shot to bump it in your car for a week or two, it grows on you.
