    Default YouTube success?

    I've noticed recently that many people that "cover" other people's music are getting pretty well known on youTube. Do people in turn buy CD's of this music?

    Is this a real market? Do a good job with other people's music and make a successful career out of it?

    Rolling Stones started as a cover band. But no, there's no real market in being a cover band.

    well... Journeys new lead singer was discovered on Youtube... I guess that's an exception
