Thread: New music by Davillci

Know its been a while since some people heard some new stuff from me. Not that I have been slacking or anything like that, I have been taking the time to intensively experiment and innovate ways to achieve a newer and distinctive sound. But on the side not, I have a little instrumental that I was working on for a bit...I hope you guys like it. It is off a mixtape instrumental EP that I have been working on for months called "Passion". However, I dont really attach any genre to what I do...I like to leave it open to interpretation since my music is a mixture of many influences from different genres. Feedback is appreciated.

I see where you're trying to go w/ your current project. I fancy this type of music genre. However, the current track is rather bland and dull. There's no energy to it. Granted, you keep at it, you'll come up w/ something special.

Sound is good but this one is more like the music you listen in a elevator. I prefer the sound and style of lifted. Keep ii up, i love that kind of music, perfect for a coktail. Please keep posting for new stuff you do.

Thanks for the forward and honest feedback. Honestly though, I wanted to go for that somber feel, something a bit reflective. My goal was to keep it simple by limiting the amount of sounds i would place in the song. Perhaps, adding a vocalist will bring more energy to the beat...I feel that's whats been holding back the true potential of this track. I do expct to add one but havent figured a direction for the song yet.
