    Default Neptunes

We seem to have a lot of Hip-Hop aficionados in here, so we shall continue in the same mold. There are some Neptunes tracks that I really dig and others not so much. I have to say my favorites are most of the production for the Clipse, who I have long felt never got nearly enough play, cred or rep (more their lyrical skill than actual content).

    And my favorite:

I thought they had a pretty fresh sound when I first heard Harlem World and N.O.R.E. andAnd a few N.E.R.D. tracks that I dig...

    Other production...

And of course to show their crossover success...

i love their old stuff, lliked about 1/4 of NERD, love the initial cross-over stuff (timberlake, britney, & no doubt), and absolutely despise all of their new stuff w/ the syrupy synths and horrible falsetto.

Southern Hospitality is one of all my all-time fav beats:

without the neptunes (and capone), nore is a lost and weak MC; with the neps, he's vicious - here's cocaine business (starts @ :28) & grimey:

on a good system, Hella Good is an amazing song and, if i were gwen (besides making out w/ myself all day), i'd only work with the neps:

forged pistons, forged rods, clubsport intercoolers, upgraded fuel system, gen 1 fabspeed loud exhaust, sachs stg 3 clutch, 964 light-weight flywheel, b&m short shifter, motons, oz superleggera III wheels, strosek rear spoiler, lots of carbon fiber inside, custom lamborghini titanium metallic paint

To get you to post it big man; these threads are all about class participation. Very hot beat and Slim Thug rips it.

Chuck, I'd say your spot on with that timeline and I love "Southern Hospitality" too; especially that subtle reed flute.
