Default L4P Test: Scars on Broadway

If Daron Malakian, songwriter and guitarist of System Of A Down, wants to produce his own soloalbum, but then asks the System Of A Down drummer John Dolmayan to help him out you can't expect a new style or new sound.
Daron is just Daron, if he calls him self SOAD or SOB doesn't really matter.
Same thing with Tankian. He is still Tankian and always will be so his solo project doesn't sound much different than all the SOAD classics.
But all this doesn't really matter cause who knows when the next SOAD album will be out.

It's pretty much the same style that made SOAD famouse.
The constant change of tempo always holds your attention and are the base for this album. But it isn't so heavy like the SOAD stuff, still there are tracks like "Exploding/Reloading", "Stoner Hater", "Chemicals" and "Cute Machines" which are really hard fast and raw.
But alot of the songs are softer and slower.

There isn't really much to say about the music, its simple like the lyrics but always fits perfect.
It shows again that you don't need a insane riff to make good rock musik, and that what this album is, a good rock album, nothing too heavy nothing too soft.

I really like the new album, got a great style and it's really chill to hear while driving to school or work.
So if you like System Of A Down or Tankians solo project you really should pick Scars on Broadway up. But don't expect too much new stuff.

Oh yeah and I really got the album, no I'm not a web pirate
