Big Mike bringin' some heat, nice! I really used to dig Timbaland before he was in the pop spotlight, but I guess I would do the same thing for a check.
In this respect, love them or hate them, I would say the Neptunes have some of the most original productions that do not heavily rely on direct sampling, but rather interpolation.

Love that Busta track! I'll update in a few. Again, AMAZING THREAD! Thank you so much.
Since you mentioned the Neptunes, I went through my collection.
Honestly, I still love a lot of their stuff. Just add some Clipse and I'm fine.
Blood Sweat and Tears - God Bless the Child
Clipse - The Funeral
Michael Jackson - Billie Jean
Ol' Dirty Bastard feat. Kelis - Got Your Money
(Live version thank to YouTube's country restrictions)
Eric B. & Rakim - My Melody
Jay-Z - Blue Magic

One of Tim's most blatant "samples," really put things into perspective when he refused to acknowledge the original composer and actually insulted him.

Also...
And no less blatant, just less known since it's all Middle-Eastern folk music...
