Here it is...the new Stones' single
A friend just sent my this from italy. Dont know if its already out in the U.S. and A. but he claimed it was the very first time played on the radio.
Here it is...the new Stones' single. A laid-back slice of Stones raunch..like the old days. This is from the new Deluxe extra disc of vault and unreleased material that will appear with the re-release of Exile On Main Street. The real treat here is that they brought Mick Taylor back to add his guitar to the track...Jagger and Richards took 10 old and unreleased songs from the Exile sessions (1971-72) and cleaned them up...re-recorded the vocals (you can tell Jagger's vocal is brand new), re-recorded some guitar parts...and invited Mick Taylor back to re-record some of his parts. Which is why the Stones sound whole again...Taylor is back and his interplay with Jagger is lovely...he adds the missing dimension that has been lacking for a while now...basically since Ronnie Wood became a caricature...a minor miracle after years of mediocre Ronnie Wood doodling...Taylor should have been asked back into the fold 20 years ago because his sound completes the Stones...Woody's sound merely depletes them.
| Some say_ that he's working on his 3rd million since the first 2 didn't work out.
