Trying to find a 70's Harley
Hi Guys,
As the Title says, I'm trying to find a 1970's Harley to turn into a bobber. I'm located in Australia, Prices for this bike out here is $15k+ which is why I'm looking for something outside of the country.
I can ONLY import a harley, It can't be anything "customer" eg chopper frame, has to be a harley with a clean title or my customers won't approve of it
Australian importing rules suck
If you could refer me to some sites other that ebay or craigs list, I'd really apprieciate it!

I have a 1975 Fx shovelhead. It has a clean Michigan title. I had a wiring fire awhile back, but it's an easy fix. It's just the wiring off the battery to the starter, solenoid, relay. Nothing off the main harness was hurt. If interested email me and I will send you pics and more info. Toddtillman76@hotmail.com
I have a lot of new and extra parts for it as well. new starter, solenoid, relay, etc. I have progressive shocks, panhead tanks, gauge and dash for the pan tanks, fender stirs, wide glide front and 21" wheel etc all extra not on the bike.

Jtown, go to chop cult.com or shovelhead.us and check in the classifieds there.
are you looking for something with a hard tail frame? Cuz mine looks like a bobber with the solo seat on. I also have a wide glide front end that is 2" under and lowering shocks for the rear so it will give a lower stance front and back. I was building a bobber with it as well, but not a hard tail. All that would be needed is different handle bars. I even have a different tank dash and gauge for it. I have some cool stuff sitting here for that bike like a triangle headlight, bobbed rear fender, new fender struts, new hand controls, new drag pipes, etc
If you want a hard tail frame and it's a 70's Harley you won't have a matching title to the bike unless it has a 60's title that goes with the motor. anything pre 70's the title went to the motor. after 70 title is to the frame on a Harley.
If you want a bobber and parts I have them all right here to do so. I also have a few friends in Australia that are big into 70's shovel heads like mine that are stock and bobbed. So if you need any help over there. I'll sell all this stuff with the bike for $5500Last edited by Zamochit; 09-02-2011 at 03:37 PM.
