Default CCW 'Tha Heist' - Custom 250cc Bobber

I'm finishing up my motorcycle exam this weekend, and thinking of picking up this little bike to learn on. It's small, agile, and looks damn cool! The 250cc motor isn't anything to write home about, but it'll definitely keep me from doing something stupid. Plus, this would only be a city commuter bike for me. With that being said, what do you guys think?

MSRP is $3195, but I've seen them for sale at a local dealership for $2995.

This thing is sick! I have been on and off looking for a moped'ish type bike for commuting. This thing is SICK! Way cooler than any moped i've seen...and it gets 77mpg!! Awesome! Great find! Thanks for sharing!

Does anyone have actual experience with the bike? Reviews have been nothing but positive, but looking to hear from an actual owner...

Nice bike! For the price though you can get something with a bigger engine and just as custom if not more so. Check out my Mod session on my 03 Honda Shadow. My Japanese Bobber Build I am into the bike for a total of 4300 bucks including the bike. I get a pile of nice compliments on my build. Especially from the Harley guys (which is odd but cool). I can send you the CAD file for the struts to be cut out on a CNC as well as answer and help with anything else you may have questions with. Good luck with whatever route you go. You have good taste! Ride safe and in good health!

Some more recent pics. Out on the Rigid...took a few shots.

PS - an excellent source of info on all Shadows can be found at shadowriders.net. Don't be fooled by the assholery on that site, they are a pile of good guys and come off rough and jagged in the beginning. It's their front to weed out lazy Noobs that don't search.

I have one that I got from Black Market Cycle Works (Wix.com BMCW created by eri554 based on Motorbike Com | Wix.com), and it's pretty awesome, so much fun to cruse around. I also have a Harley Davidson 2005 FLSTSI Softail Springer CLassic, so dont listen to those other guys, this is totaly dif than a sportster. No where can you get a killer little bobber like this (hard tail) with such a classic look and all the EPA approvals. I love mine; I ride it to all the bike spots and people trip out. They all think it's an old Triumph or BSA.
