Default Can anyone tell me what this is?

I picked up a used CBR1000RR and I found this box in the trunk. I have heard anything from LED light controller to alarm to lojack. Anyone have any idea?
LED is out cause the lights still work with it unplugged
Alarm is out cause no speaker.
And the bike still runs fine with it unplugged.

    The Box

    The guts

    The back of the guts.

I dont know about lojack because I dont see a FCC number so I dont know if it can transmit.

you might be able to get more information from the cbr forum. have you actually ridden the bike with it disconnected ? is it possible that it could be some kind of power commander ?

tried 1000rr.net, they are useless. yeah it rides fine. the power commander is on the other side of the bike.

With those little code selection switches, it looks like the inside of my Garage opener ? But why would it be plugged in? I am going for either an immoboliser or perhaps a back to base alarm.

depending on the year of the bike it could be the coded ignition, id check the wires and trace them see where they go, after you trace them let me know and we can go from there, or join cbrforum.com and ask there

They could have rigged a garage clicker to on of the other switches. I've had friends do this. Just a thought...

Best bet is to trace the wires and see where they go. It could be a remote garage door opener with buttons located elsewhere but I don't see a radio unless the chip located to the left of the switch bank has text indicating it is.
East bound and down, loaded up and truckin',
we're gonna do what they say can't be done.
