    Default Ducati 750 Monster

So I'm in the market for a bike and I'm really down with the Naked bikes. Has anyone here owned or known anyone with the 750 Monster. I'm getting it to ride to work everyday and take on little short rides on the weekends, nothing serious. It has been a while since I've really done any serious riding. I'm looking for any input on this bike. It has 12k miles and some carbon upgrades and some slipons and just a few other lil things, nothing serious but it has been well maintained. Thank you for your time and if ya got ne input please feel free to drop some lines.

monster is a simple bike. i personally think street fighter is also a good choice and it looks better, and rides faster. monster is great for around town.

a lot of guys ride these when they get older and don't want a crutch rocket anymore.

Do it, I'm sure you won't regret it. I love monsters but they were a little out of my price range when I was bike shopping.

I have a 2002 Monster 750 currently... so far i love the bike, I have only really had it about a year. They aren't the most fun to work on, but they are fun to drive. They aren't fast, you will lose to almost every new jap 600cc bike, but in the end you still have a Ducati. I have the Dark Edition, but the tanks are painted silver. It has 9,000ish miles. I sold most the bolt ons off of it, but i still have the LED tail light, and race handle bars. If you have any ownership question I can handle most. My speedometer and Tach don't work also. Its a common problem and a pain to fix, so make sure those needles work before you buy it. Its about a $700 fix unless your an electrical engineer.

So I just bought it, and I love it. I took it for a lil ride today and everything is perfect on it. I will post pics later when I get back home.
