Default Cold started my R6 after 6 months [video]

    This is what happened....

    It started up.

Gotta love Japanese bikes - no issues. Ever.

I've been using Startbrite "Startron" in my fuel, and I have to say, it is worth it.
For storing, and everyday use, it stops the fuel from degrading... especially if it has ethanol in it. The only fuel up here without ethanol, is Chevron ultra premium... and it's $1.55/litre or $6.05/ US gallon (3.78 litres)
I've been trying it in the sleds and bike, and I am impressed with the way it always lights off.
It takes a lot of the stress out of the end of winter when they start right up, doesnt it?

same here, no major problems after a year of sitting, the battery was dead, but once i got it charged up, the bike fired up like it was nothing.

My ZX7R won't idle and when I give it throttle it dies. I need to tear into the carbs and clean the jets.

My 916 fires right up though.

Yeah; I think it's about time my carbs get cleaned. The oil can use a change too.

    It's a 2002 - cracked over 12,000 miles recently.

My dad's '02 (red one in this video) has under 5,000 miles.

Wow thats low miles. I have an 05 ZX6R and I just recently rolled over 15,000. And I think thats even low for the year.

Awesome bike, I'm riding a 2006 R6S at the moment.

It's amazing how great these bikes run with barely any maintenance and practiacally ZERO issues. Except for the random oil filter exploding on me.

I must agree... Startbrite is the best stuff out there!
