Lovin the Ducati pics! Zack's Garage is crazy BTW, post more pics. One think I find strange about some Duc's is the the engine is part of the frame...but also very coool. Like if you look @ the bottom of a motor on a Monster there's no frame....bottom is all motor.

i own two ducati's and they are reliable, dunno why some say they aren't all my boys ride ducs too and have not had any problems with them, aside from a fuel line hose clamp coming loose i have not had any issues otherwise.

I've owned almost every bike on the planet that is cool and all i can say is that riding a ducati is truly something else, there are bikes that are faster, more reliable, handle better, more comfortable blah blah blah, but a ducati just has that feeling you can replicate when riding.

As for diy, not hard at all if you've worked on bikes, check out these guys cacyleworks, they make parts like timing belts etc and they have videos on how to do maintenace etc. just need the tools, i highly recommend getting the ducati oil filter wrench for routine oil changes.

As for warranty you need to do the majors there but minors like oil changes you can do yourself as long as you can prove you did them with receipts for oil etc (at least in my hood)
