Uno III

(From bpg Motors) Cambridge, MA
The current Uno is our most recent version. It’s a road-ready transformer.
It’s small enough to fit in an elevator or bring inside an apartment and stable enough to handle Boston’s morning rush hour. The Uno now has three wheels. In Uno mode, the vehicle is a dicycle that balances on a single pair of parallel wheels, enabling unmatched nimbleness with an extremely tight turning radius. At high speeds, a middle wheel deploys forward and the outer wheels shift backwards – transforming the Uno into a full street bike. This patented system allows the U3 to be stable throughout the transition.
The U3 is designed to reflect the form and function of our initial go-to market product.

Uno III (An electric scooter capable of attaining 30 MPH).

What is the market ?
Is it a pratical vehicle with a reasonable confort ride that can be used downtown daily and stored in your small/ no garage apartment at night... or a performance race bike. To me it looks too much race to be basic transportation... low handlebars, not the best ergonomics.
Anyone into performance will be looking for a real sport bike... and if looking for transportation confort will be priority.
Yes it looks cool but I see a rich guy toy... Maybe a second option with taller handlebars and some storage would't hurt sales.Last edited by Zack; 04-28-2011 at 04:16 AM.

I saw this on Dragon's Den and was really impressed. The guy is a genius aha I'm the same age and in engineering and couldn't come anywhere near creating something like this. Amazing product
