    Smile Norton 961 Commando SE

Norton fans in the United States can finally enjoy the bike maker’s motorcycles starting in either April or May. The release date depends on whether or not the 961 Commando can pass EPA testing, however, Norton is confident that there will be no issues. Only 200 limited edition 961 Commando SE models have been built, and only 50 will be available in the United States. Buyers will have an option to pick between a wire-wheeled version for around $17,999 or a carbon-fiber wheeled iteration for $19,499.

Since I was a little kid i grew up around AJS, Vincent's, BSA's, Triumphs etc. so I've always had a greater appreciation for vintage british bikes but the one factor i never could get over is how tempermental they were.

Now it appears I can have the best of both worlds. (hope to see this priced more in accordance in the future)

I've always liked Norton Commandos and I'm glad it's back.
