    Default Hang a Motorcycle?

Ideas, anyone ever hang a motorcycle from the ceiling or store them on top of tiered shelving? I think I want to get a couple of bikes off the ground in the garage, now these are light bikes Ape RS50 (bone stock!!) a JR50 (my kids first bike) and maybe a couple of KLX110/140 (kids first race bikes) anyone done this or can point me to someone who has?

Interesting you're bringing this up, we've been discussing options here at the store!

    I dont trust walls.

but the tiered shelving works well.

the garage itself is small (as you can see by the picture below) but the shelving has maxed out all the space into usable. i can still fit an lp640 and a big jacked up dually in there. with all those bikes and about 2-3 other cars..so about 20-30 bikes and about 5 cars..all because of shelving and lifts...not gona be pretty like hanging stuff on wall..but the sleep at night will be a bit better

love the bike collection! Even a KTM sm to the left? Did you use rear stands, just kick stands, wheel chocks, or something to hold them in place?

We have a local themed restaurant that has some bikes hanging as displays. I'll see if I can swing by there next week and talk to a manager. I've also discussed with Big above about using a 4-post lift and fixtures to lift possibly 4 bikes at a time. Or, a parking platform can be used.

Look for images of the Barber Musuem / collection. Might give you some ideas.

    yup...450ex turned into a tard..

i just use sidestands on the street bikes and rear stands on the race bikes or bikes i am working on.

this is only 1/10 of the collection just the old hondas and zuks..there is also the ducati, bimota, benelli, yamaha and kawasaki collection.
then there are also the race bikes. and the hayabusa collection

i am sure i forgot something
