State Farm is usually cheapest since they use the engine size as their main criteria. Premiums are based largely on cost to replace, theft frequency, damage frequency, and your driving record. Things like color simply aren't factored.
Geico is a joke. It's actually an acronym for Government Employee Insurance COmpany. You have to work for the .gov to get the discounted insurance.

agreed i use the same bc my race bikes have full blown race motors in them and Works susp forks and shock. they are pretty good about it couple years ago they covered a full bike and the mods. sometimes i will race a gncc or hare scramble to cross train and the one event i do in the woods a deer ran into me from the side and me and another guy wrecked. my bike got messed up pretty good and they covered it all. just keep your documents if you have mods
i have to look but i know i don't pay more then 100 a month for it added to the cars etc

I'm a 32 year old male with a 'clean' record (at least over the past 3-5 years). I carry full coverage on my old 2002 Ducati 748, even though it's a garage queen and eventual track bike.
I think its about $400/year max through All State. It's a little bit more than what I was paying through State Farm, but I saved money overall with a multi-policy (added my G/F's car) via All State.
It's bundled with a '08 Pontiac G8, '04 Saturn (G/F) and $50k renters.
