Thread: K8 GSXR - had to share :)

so, riding this season has got me sooooper excited and i had to share pics of the new bike


38-cig's busa / my gsxr - as i consider trading in for 1 horse power


somewhere around lake geneva

mods so far:
de-tagged
pro grip gel grips (not on yet)
fender eliminator
custom heel guards
windscreen
soupy's adjustable link (lowered 1.5")

to do in the next couple weeks:
ASV racing levers
akro slip-on (any recs on what fits the k8's/k9's would be greatly appreciated)

dont want to do anything crazy, but i figured thatd be a good place to start

Both bikes are awesome man, love that color. On a side note, I rode this weekend with an 1198 S. with Termi pipes. Damn that thing was mean.

I'm not usually a duc fan but the 1198 is one sexy bike. It's a toss up for me between that and the bmw s.

600, they dont make r bikes in 650cc...i debated between the 600 and 750 for a while but because they dont race the 750s anymore, there've been some complaints about the lag in tech compared to the r600 s and the liters. But honestly, at over 130hp and under 360 lbs stock, its a "barely civilized track bike" (quoting 38cig) I absolutely love this bike

I like the GSXR...not feeling the Busa though, I've always had a huge hatred for them. lol
