Thanks fellas, gear will be the next thing I buy----I will get some updated pics this week for you

I am planning on tracking it regularly as the M is too costly to do so, this seems to be the easy way out

If you have a serious itch to change the paint, you could always wrap the plastics and pull it off when you're ready to sell.

My dad does all his replica Honda GP builds in the early factory livery...

congrats on the bike purchase and new plastics. like was said before, the Sato (FTW) rear sets are awesome! In terms of mods, you could do so much! I have dropped much more into my bike than I ever dreamed! And am doing trackdays this summer for sure. Save up for some leathers my man!

    M congrats on the bike

if your gonna get a new one soon then i would spend the least amount to get it back into good shape etc.

also i don't know what your budget is for the next bike but if you can afford it i would get the Ducati 848 over the 749 all day long. the 848 is such a better bike.

if you can't swing that then i would get a used 998 or one of the older 900cc bikes, you will out grow the 749 very quick and they don't command the resale of the bigger brothers do and are a hard sell for some reason

Since ths discussion has taken a Ducati turn, I sold my 2009 1098 to buy a 2009 R1, and my R1 blowsssssssssss the 1098 away! Now, an 1198S might be a different story, but I could have two R1's for the price of a single 1198S!
