I'vre gone out in the 40's. But, it kinda sucks having sweatshirts and underarmor under the leather - hard to move freely!!

20 was my worst last year... layerd gear, heated gloves, and I still couldn't feel my hands and feet once they were soaked. I had ridden to work and had no choice, the bike barely started and I thought I was in serious trouble. You only get a few cranks in with a battery that cold.
I went out again when it was 14 to take rep pics for the 4.

below freezing is ok as long as there is not too much snow or ice on the road and well above 100 for the high side... Right gear - no problems...

My captain has a heated seat and heated grips on a bike with a faring. He will ride until there is ice on the ground. His words. "Snow is tricky but ice is impossible." I'm like WTF?

i have a different set of wheels with special studded michelin tires. winter time i through those on and i can go as deep as 3-4 inches of snow bf i have problems and ice is like it was a road bc of the studs. before i got the efi race bike it used to be a bitch in the winter jetting the carb but now i just start it up and go. lowest i got last winter was 25 i believe. man it was cold, but after a couple 15 min motos i was warmed up. changing in the freezing cold at the track is not fun though lol
overall winter riding is pretty fun08 BMW Dinan E92 M3

i use to ride to work early morning. around 32*. first and last winter doing that, 2 thermal a sweatshirt and a leather jacket and still cold. every stopligt i would just grab the engine case to warm up my hands. thighs wouldn't get warm for a couple hours. now ill still ride in the 50's, 40's once i get another leather.
as far as the high side, ill ride as hot as the bike can handle.

Mine is about 90
. I will only ride in full leathers, so anything above that is too hot for me. Sucks that this summer was pretty hot, I didn't ride a lot, but lately the weather has been perfect, my riding season is in full effect now
