S1000rr
BMW S1000RR came to Reno for a tour and let me say it's a fantastic looking bike.

Saw these at Indy this year...It's not the most pretty bike in the world, but you have to respect the power and technology they put in there, all at an unbelieveable price!
Something like 195hp, just a tick over 400 lbs, traction control with 4 modes, ABS, and some other crap...For around $14,000
Not bad.

I love the fact that BMW has decided to compete in this part of the cycle market. Don't care for the front end (the strange looking headlights) but I plan to test ride one in the spring to see what it's like.

I think it is a solid contender. Would love to see it in person.

Numerically it is the bike to beat, but I feel in overall quality BMW dipped below the Aprilia / Ducati / KTM bar and is going head on for the Japanese 4's.

i sat on this one and the one in full factory race spec while it was in milwaukee. a boss of mine at my previous place of employment was shooting a "cat and mouse" type video with one of the BMW factory guys at blackhawk. pretty amazing pieces of machinery.

today on motorcycledaily.com they're reporting that a S1000RR dyno'd at 185hp at the wheel. which would be 200hp at the crank! this cycle will be an absolute beast
