I just picked up a D3100 and 50mm f/1.4G for some product photos, and this setup is really impressing me.

What did he wind up doing engine wise?
I'm not looking for much more power but I do plan to have Jett Tuning re-flash the ecu to get rid of the US power restrictions. Once I throw the Y pipe on there I will have a custom tune done and thats about it. Most of the mods will be track goodies.

the head needs a bit of work..very restrictive.
akra evo full exhaust took a lot of weight off...especially from the ass.
if you are going full track....get a yec ecu and harness. awesome thing about that is you can still run a power commander V and auto tune. it opens up all the restrictions. plus it has traction control hook ups and launch control....dont forget the quick shifter.
look into a qb carbon airbox as well....large volume
jett tuning is ok...but the yec ecu, a pcv, a pc auto tune, and a good tune on a dyno wakes those up. also look into the graves works catalog...lots of trick yec and other factory racing parts there.
my buddy got a brembo mono caliper kit (130mm so it fits those weird r1 spacing) and his suspension is at traxxion getting a AKGAS kit in the front and a penske triple in the back.Fortuna audax iuvat
