You buy the bike , pay fees for the title which is usually the state % tax of the amount of purchase price , if you buy used from private then theres loopholes if you buy from dealer or online then you pay outright lol
. Then you get registrations and make sure you got a copy of insurance . Usually your license has a letter for what type it is . Mine is C=cycle before was O=operator

Just re-registered my bike again, I wish could remember the exact number but I think it was $46 (manhattan, ny).
