Viper SmartStart Installer in MI
So i was looking into the Viper SmartStart because winter is here, and was wondering if anyone has that installed and willing to share their experience ? Read the reviews online, and they are about half good half bad.
Or do you guys have some other remote start installed? figured that this might be really useful given the michigan weather.
Also any suggestions on reliable installers ? I would rather not have it installed at best buy.
Thanks!

Smart start is nice, pain in the arse as you cannot install it yourself. Well physically it's cake to install but an authorized dealer has to activate the device. Most I've been to will not activate if they did not install.
East bound and down, loaded up and truckin',
we're gonna do what they say can't be done.

Autowerks in Chicago. That's all that comes to mind.
You could call up Livernois and see who they refer.

If you dont mind the drive we do them all the time. Our lead installer Eric is currently rated #2 in the country by mobile installer magazine. Send him an email and let him know you are a friend of Rons. eric@autowerksracing.com

Hey, I know I'm new here but there's a few shops in Michigan that do quality work. I think that most of them are just smaller shops and don't turn out a lot of work, so don't get as much exposure as some of the bigger shops.
Not to take anything away from Autowerks, but if you don't want to drive to Chicago, Extreme Car Audio in Grand Rapids does good work.
