Hey Everyone,
I joined L4P a little while back but haven't been actively posting on the forums. My name is Mike, I am 3rd year DePaul University Student majoring in Management concentrating on Entrepreneurship and finance. I'm currently working with the Collegiate Entrepreneurs' Organization to develop a few ideas, and am always looking for new people to network with. I wasn't sure if this is the correct place to post an intro but I figured it would bring up some locals.

Mike, Welcome to the 4. You'll have a great time here.
I'm not judging you as I don't know you but I don't understand this "desire" to network with. If this was a forum about knitting, would you have posted the same intro regarding networking? I mean, I came to this forum to hang out with people that shared similar desires and interests as myself but your intro sounds like your next post will be "so I'm doing research for my entrepreneurial class and I'm wondering how I could network with you all and discuss how you made baller money".
I'm not hating on you but I'm just trying to understand your reasoning for posting about networking on a forum that doesn't remotely look like LinkedIn.

Welcome Mike, Unfortunately you're here for all the wrong reasons.
It is vital that we work to a few golden rules. Always work in a small team. Keep a very low profile. Only deal with people who come recommended. And it's like selling anything else: washing machines, hand made shoes, blowjobs. As long as you don't take the piss people will always come back for more. And that is not to say we don't have that special kind of magic that makes two kilos into three. But never be too greedy.

DePaul runs on the Trimester system.
Networking might have been the incorrect term I was going after. I was trying say that I like the topics and community here on L4P and would like to contribute and meet people who have similar interests as mine.
