Thread: Garage Bar Brew Meet 3/26/2011-- 8pm

Where: My father's garage: Chicago Heights, IL PM me for address... to many shady fucks on here to post it (shady fucks not welcome) I'll tell you where it is and how to get in via PM... For those who were there last time, same address, same entrance, same parking.


It's that time again! Since the Brew Meet in the Garage Bar was a pretty big success I think another is in order. We had over 90 different beers and 30-40 people at the last one! Lets break 100 this time!

We're going to do this "pot-luck" style, same as last time and it worked out great. Everyone bring a 6-pack of something different/weird/good/your favorite/new/shitty/ect. to share with everyone else. We have the fridge and massive beer cooler out there and will have coolers with ice if necessary. The idea is everyone can help themselves to whatever is in the cooler. Good way to try new beer if everyone participates. :chug:

This one will be held in my fathers 2 car garage, which is basically set up like a small bar. If you're into beer you will love this place. Lots of random beer collectible and memorabilia in here, some of it dating back a good amount of time.


- There will be heat in here, so it won't be freezing.

- We have 2 bar tables with 4 chairs each and a diner booth. We'll have some other tables and chairs set up as well.

- There are 2 TV's out there in case a game or something is on and ppl want to watch. Might be some good college ball games on.

- I'll buy a bunch of burgers, hot dogs, buns, ect to throw on the grill. If you have anything else you want to throw on the girll feel free to bring it.

- Please be respectful to the things inside, each other included, I don't need any stupid pissing matches that lead to fights and things breaking.

- If you're planning on getting hammered (that's fine) please bring a DD. I don't need anyone getting hurt (or worse) leaving. A couple people asked if they brought a sleeping bag or something if they could pass out in the garage (it's that warm)... if you're serious, feel free haha.

- Parking on the street in my neighborhood is not an issue.. my driveway will be open as well for the first couple ppl that arrive (can fit 6-8 or so)

- Anyone is welcome... A couple people asked if it was OK if they brought their GF/friend/ect last time. No problem at all.

HAHA! I ACTUALLY meant a DESIGNATED DRIVER lol

We do not have our own beer... I'm trying to get my dad to start brewing stuff. He may sometime, we'll see. You should come by!

This sounds like alot of fun. I just looked up Chicago Heights, and its pretty far south from me. How far would you say it is from the city?? looks like about an hour?

I drive to Northbrook (Autowerks) for work and it's 1 hour from my house. I go to school downtown and it takes about 35 min to drive there with no traffic.
