    Can I bump this thread?
We were just downtown looking at some real estate and rehab projects, and this came up in conversation while here. In particular, Michigan Central.

Thanks for the post on your blog JIT. It's inspiring from an investment perspective to see that there is still a heartbeat in a city that was once vibrant with life and activity.

My Wife continues to encourage me to 'stay after it' as she says and reminds me, there are many gems in the rough waiting to be polished.

For several months, we've discussed many of the elements in personal satisfaction and or strictly business in taking on a few projects in downtown Detroit.

The Exploration Series is really something that drives the point home.

I used to visit Detroit often (well grosse pointe) and always loved the history the city had to offer. The buildings were always amazing.

What was that old hotel that they were suppose renovate? It was pretty large. I cant recall the name.

I love me some slows too, but damn it's not the only place that exists in downtown. There are many gems. Seems like when people talk about downtown it's the train station and slows lol.
