try The American Club. its an upscale hotel, and from what i remember had a pretty nice restaurant and lounge as well.
not too far from Road America, the best auto track in the country IMO. if you're there while they're having an event that is. about a 20-30 minute drive from Kohler. enjoy!

Whats with all these OG's quietly reappearing back on the scene? Either way were glad your back Ray!
I've been to Kohler many times. Check out the American Club. The Immigrant Restaurant and wine bar next to it are great. The horse and plow is a more laid back restaurant with a decent beer selection.
If your looking for other things to see the Kohler show room is rather interesting.-Patrick

Look for a resturant in Elkart Lake called Lake Street. John the owner and his wife are super nice people. If you go, you have to ask him for Lemon Chello and if you know what Snuff is. Ask for that also. Snuff is a late night thing and had after some drinks usually. I love the Smoked Ham and brie sandwich. Also the lamb was really good. Also awesome French Onion Soup!! If you go report back. Trust me it is a great place. I have not been there in a few years though.

great time had @ kohler this weekend.
nice drive up with the wifey. since i just moved out here i have not been that far up north yet. made it there in just over an hour.
checked in @ the inn on woodlake b/c the american club was sold out for weeks in advance. had lunch at cucina in the shop area then made our way to the cigar bar for a few drinks and some smoke.
headed back to the room to get ready for dinner. ate in the wisconsin room b/c the immigrant was also booked way in advance. awesome meal! felt slightly casual for my taste but none the less a great experience. service was spot on from the minute we arrived to the final check out. had drinks (many) at the immigrant bar, got back to the room and there was a bottle of bubbley waiting compliments of the hotel.
sunday morning was brunch and again just top notch...
overall great experience, very nice and clean room and of course top shelf bathroom appliances. very relaxing little village. If you're in Wisconsin and need photos of anything....reach out to me. I'm happy to help
