Thread: IL Alzheimer's Charity Car show

Come this April Southern Illinois University at Carbondale will have the second Auto's 4 Alzheimer's car and bike show. Though it is still some time away I wanted to announce this now to see who would be interested in attending.

Our first show in October of 2009 was a huge success and we were able to raise a lot for the Ronald Reagan Alzheimer's Foundation. We are looking to have our second show be an even bigger success with fun for all ages.

More information will come soon as final dates and numbers are set, but if there is any chance that you would like to attend please just post so in this thread and I will contact you with more information.

Distance from major cities:

Chicago - 330 miles
St. Louis - 130 miles
Memphis - 210 miles
Indianapolis -260 miles

Definitely is, just unfortunate that Carbondale is rather far from most major cities in the midwest.

I can definitely see what I can work out. May have places for people to stay. If I can get enough people from major cities to come I am going to see if I can get a local hotel to give really good discount rates...next to nothing if possible. Until then I will try to find some people with space, you'd have a fun time.

Willing to come down and check it out. If it's the same weekend i go to Bowling Green Ky. that would be perfect!

I believe April 23rd, not certain. But even if it's not I still come down.
