FREE - Indoor Racing School @ Autobahn , Joliet, IL, USA
**PRE-REGISTRATION BY MARCH 15TH IS REQUIRED TO ATTEND**
On Saturday, March 20th, at Autobahn Country Club, Joliet IL, North Suburban Sports Car Club will hold its 50th Annual FREE Indoor Racing School. It is designed to show prospective racers what is involved in getting on a road racing course, either as a racer or as a race staff worker. There is no cost or obligation involved. Our hope is that attendees will find amateur road racing/sports car racing interesting enough to join our club and come out to race and/or work with us.
The program discusses current era and vintage/historic wheel-to-wheel racing, solo timed-run events also known as High Speed Autocross and the on-track driver schools presented by the Midwestern Council of Sports Car Clubs. Professional grade presentations from 9AM to 3PM will be followed by guided track touring on one of the two road courses available at Autobahn – weather permitting.
If you know anyone planning to start racing this season, please let them know about this. This is an RSVP event, as we need to know how many students to prepare for. Please use this registration form to let us know you're coming and how many will be with you. Contact Lynn Serra if you have any questions or need any additional information. Also, please contact Lynn if, once you've registered, you find you are unable to attend and need to cancel your registration.

this is right at the end of my spring break...which is still undecided as to what will occur. If I am at home during it then I may try to make it out to this, I'm from Glenview.

Uhh on road indoors?
"Professional grade presentations from 9AM to 3PM will be followed by guided track touring on one of the two road courses available at Autobahn – weather permitting"
Now I can't predict the weather but from what I gather you have a few hours of school, then track time.

"guided track touring" to me sounds like follow the leader at 40 moreso than actual track time...no?

More than likely that's how it seems, videos on YouTube show a different story though.
