Default Cheap(er) places to stay in Chicago

plane tickets booked wrong, so im making jaunts up to Chitown 2 weekends in a row ( the 2nd for absolutely no reason )

Not looking to spend hardly anything if possible the 2nd wknd. (Already throwing away $500, not to mention expected bartabs)

    Any decent places to crash?

Check out priceline.com . We stayed at the Hamptons a few weeks ago. It was around 300 bucks for a double bed.

where abouts are your plans, Cubs game?

I stayed here http://book.bestwestern.com/bestwest...sablenav=false walking distance to the game and great rooms at cheap prices!

my personal favorite : the james
very reasonable summer/weekend packages available right now and awesome rooms - amazing suites if you choose to splurge a little. and david burke's primehouse = possibly one of the greatest steaks i've EVER had

    dana hotel

excellent hotel and spa - a little bit more reasonable than the james; just dont get tricked into going to vertigo (the rooftop bar/lounge). centrally located close to michigan avenue/nightlife/restaurants

    palmer house hilton
most reasonable in terms of price (under $110 for weekends). the entire hotel was recently (within the past 6 months) redone but the rooms are "european style" like most historic chicago properties. lockwood steak house and the chakra spa in the hotel = awesome!
