License Plate Removal is now a standard service included in the Stage IV Detailing Package! As you can see, it was very dirty behind this license plate and we're happy to remove it and clean behind there for you. The area behind the plate is also protected with Zaino Z-2 Pro just like the rest of your vehicle.

The exterior is foamed up and the delicate hand wash begins. The number of wash mitts is stepped up from only one, to two, all completely standard now.

The vehicle is rinsed off and we're ready to clay bar:

We have a vast selection of clay bars in stock and ready for use that very from fine to aggressive grade and include brands such as Zaino, Clay Magic, and Chemical Guys - Our top three favorite clay bar brands. The fine grade Zaino clay bar service is included in the Stage IV but we can use another grade at no additional charge depending on the condition of your paint.

All of the exterior paintwork, glass, and plastic receives the benefit of the clay bar. Clay barring the glass surfaces clears up stuck on contamination just as it does for paint and allows for a much clearer windshield. This is now standard in the Stage IV.

Inspecting the paintwork. It is clear it has some swirls and will benefit greatly from our new Two Step Polish add-on.

The exhaust tips needed a lot of attention to be brought back to life.

    Cleaning the interior crevices.

We also have a special crevice tool that adapts to our powerful vacuum to eliminate dust in cracks completely.

    The finished engine bay:

The finished exterior. It immediately began to snow outside so I had to bring it back inside. I will get some more outside shots when I deliver it.

    Delivery pictures coming soon!

    Default Detailed & Delivered!

    2008 Lamborghini Gallardo Superleggera
    Grigio Telesto
I detailed this Superleggera with our Stage V Detail Package and some additional CCR time on the paintwork, plastic, and carbon fiber.

First is the walk around to observe anything unusual or areas that will need more attention than others. To start off, the license plate was removed first thing to get ready for cleaning.

Inspecting the front end for bugs, other contaminants, scratches, and chips.

I was able to see the damage to the paintwork and carbon fiber with our 3M Sun Gun. We'll fix these later, but for now here is what the paint condition was initially:

Light scratches on the tail lamp:

    Carbon Fiber: (Light scratches)

First thing is to get the engine compartment cleaned up. First is a thorough inspection using light when needed to ensure all electrical connections, grommets, caps, dipsticks, etc.. are all secured so water does not end up where it shouldn't be. Air intake hoses and clamps are also inspected at this time.

Beginning the engine rinse, light degreaser, and scrub:

The degreaser is rinsed off, everything is blow dried, and a non-glossy plastic protectant is applied for an OEM look that repels dust.

The wheels were the dirtiest part on the outside and because there were so many spokes, I decided it would be best to pre-soak the wheels and clean them individually with the Swissvax Wheel Brush.

    The Stage V Detailing Package
comes with five brand new genuine sheepskin wash mitts to be used during the foam gun hand wash. Normally these are divided among the wheels but since the wheels are already clean, they were divided among the vehicle top to bottom. We have ten fresh, soapy sides of the wash mitt and no risk of grit inside of buckets, plus the customer gets to keep the wash mitts!

The exterior panels were blow dried, including the wheels:

We have started the clay bar on the windshield and will clay all of the exterior glass, followed by the paintwork.

First we need to determine that the vehicle is safe for polishing and that there are no big thickness variances or thin spots. For this we use our DeFelkso Positector Ultrasonic Depth Gauge.

Now that the surface is free of stuck-on contamination, we can begin polishing to restore the finish of the clear coat. This process took hours alone to do properly.
