1999 Chevrolet Corvette Coupe

This Corvette is a beautiful example of our clear coat restoration services to show you what BLACK should really look like! It all started with our foam gun hand wash, Zaino Z-18 Claybar process, and full paint inspection. After concluding this is original paintwork and that I have a very safe average clear coat of 1.3 mils with no unusual shallow or low spots, the polishing began that completely transformed this ten year old finish.

All exterior trim, plastic, emblems, sharp edges, etc.. were masked off for the initial rotary polish with a Makita 6227C and Menzerna SIP. The surface was then restored with a Flex 3401 D/A and a series of softer pads with more Menzerna polishes. Eight hours of clear coat restoration later, the Corvette was given an isopropyl alcohol/water wipe down to ensure all polishing chemicals were not acting as a filler or inhibiting the bond of the last step product (Wax, sealant, etc..). I peeled all of the masking away and all cracks were then soaked and cleaned free of all polishing dust.

It was then re-washed, dried, and hand waxed with Zymol Vintage Estate Glaze and given a full detail. After the carnauba had fogged and sweated (Common among high end carnauba glazes after 3-4 hours), it was wiped down with Zymol Field Glaze. Wiped down once more prior to delivery and carefully winched into our 40' trailer to deliver to the customer this morning. Enjoy the pictures and don't forget about the current Fall Special pricing!

In addition to our Fall-Special Stage IV, the light polish add-on was also requested and here are some great before and after shots that show this service. The light polish add-on is a less abrasive approach than clear coat restoration that restores light to moderate scratches. Clear coat restoration concentrates on these scratches as well as the deeper ones, which you will see still remain in the following shots. This Mustang looked very chalky before and now looks like it is dripping black paint! This add-on can be applied to any detailing package (Stages 1-5) for a low price of $85.00. Look at the difference it made!
