Just wanted to share this video I was fortunate enough to produce of McLaren F1 GTR Longtail #28R:



Video wise I just wanted to thank Erik (Peloton25) for the tip and for answering any question I've ever had pertaining to these cars. It is unbelievable just how much knowledge he has amassed over the years of the McLaren F1 and how willing and enthusiastic he is to share it with others. Thank You Erik. Also, thank you to Alessandro Ribola at McLaren of San Francisco in Palo Alto for his hospitality every time I come to McLaren SF to film something. I've dealt with hundreds of salesmen over the years, but he stands out as one of the most professional and kind salesmen out there, and is obviously passionate towards the cars he sells and deals with. Thank You Alessandro.

The car in the video above, McLaren F1 GTR Longtail chassis # 28R, will be up for auction at Bonhams’ Quail Lodge Sale “A Sale of Exceptional Motorcars and Automobilia” in Carmel, which takes place on August 16th and 17th of this year. I believe Bonhams’ (don’t quote me) has a projected selling price of $4M+…excited to see what it goes for. Great video! What track did you use?

Peloton: Do you know when the car is leaving for the auction? I would like to come by Mclaren SF and see it before it is gone. Maybe snap a few quick pics

I don't know the exact date but I'd suspect you only have a couple more weeks left to see it there. They'll probably start placing cars at the Quail early in the week of the auction as their first showing begins on Wednesday, August 15th at 10:00am.
