Our partners at Autemo just gave their artists the opportunity to test their designing skills by giving their vision at what McLaren's F1 successor will look like.

We didn't make the cut this time either did we, haha. Very understandable though as we didn't submit a proper entry due to a lot of exams. Here's what we had time for anyway, never got further than the sketching and planning state:

And the winner is.... None of the above. These are all off. They are mostly MP4-12C body-kit cars. One of them looks like an Aero and another has an enzo's nose. All bad and all wrong. The F1 car will not be a modified 12C. Back to the drawing boards.

these all seem to have elements of the MP4 and even some suspicious traits from other big names... I don't think the successor to the legendary F1 will be like any of these. If it is to continue the F1's exclusivity, I think it will be entirely unique.

All look like mp4 12c's. No originality. Where are they design cues from the f1? not my cup of tea, so to say.

To me they all look like MP4's with bodykits on them.My favorite is the team Poland one.

Interesting to see how each designer is paying homage to the original F1 in their own subtle way, while also carrying on the current design language. Not to sure I have a favorite of these just yet. Hope to see more.

Either they look somewhat like an MP4 or a Ferrari raped Mclaren and these were their offsprings...
