How hard are these things to drive in real life? The closest I've ever got to "driving" one was GT5 lol. Sport tires, traction control to 1, all other assists OFF - and god that thing was HORRIBLE.

It drives amazingly well, Fashion Cat. Better than my R8 while losing none of the civility. I can't imagine any car coming close to this McLaren in terms of usable performance. I test drove the one that Pfaff had sent over to Vancouver a couple of months back. It was desperately impressive.

I love these cars but CCBs are a must, those steel brakes look tiny.

I have to say anyone who hasnt driven one of these get out there and do it. They are phenomenal. I took delivery of my black one not long ago, and I absolutely love it. I drive it everyday, and for a supercar its just about as good as a daily driver as you can get. Turn off the traction control, plant your foot in it, and hang on, it hauls ass! I absolutely love mine, and having owned a 458, SuperG TT, Carrera GT etc, it says a lot that I enjoy it as much as I do.

Nice. Love this color, btw. It seems to be fairly popular, but damn it's hot.
Good luck with the sale!

love mine. it's like an R8 but faster, a lot faster. Very ultimate-daily-driveable. Only disappointment, just like the R8, is the lack of exhaust note...maybe it's because mine wasn't optioned out with the sports exhaust.
Can't wait to jump back into it & hit the twisties once it arrives in Taipei.
edit: oh, I do get annoyed with how I can't see anything behind me when the rear air brake deploys.Last edited by freshmeat; 05-13-2012 at 12:59 AM.
