I don't think she was trying to replicate anything actually it looks like she was just trying to make a car as unique and as close to her preferences as she could and it looks like she did a damn good job. If I were in a position where I was going to be changing a car up that much I wouldn't use a brand new car as a base either, I would either buy a salvaged SL or an old SL like she did because since 90% of the car is being swapped out anyway what is the point in buying a brand new car?

IMHO I never liked this car. But I respect what she did with it. GLWS. And can't wait to see what's next

true enough, but look what that does for the business. buying a higher mileage car for the build allows for more money to be spent on making a truly car which is what they are all about

The link that he posted was for an SL 63 stock, for $150k. I'd much rather have the SL666. 750HP/800ftlbs on a custom supercharged engine + widebody kit. Now the interior definitely isn't my taste, but the wheels, stance, engine, and body... Yea, better than a stock SL63 that looks like an upgraded Boxster...

I can see rice eaters point..... but Its easy to say buy this or buy that .. but whoes gonna help pay for it ? lol i aint made of money, i work hard to play hard ! Yea if i had 300 gs to spare id love to own a real black series but the truth is when i crashed my ferrari and total loss it i got around 100gs.. i was about to buy a gallardo but i loved the misha kit on the SL55 , it was $55k , and through a years of paychex i was able to create it how it sits today .. oh and btw sale is on standby rofl... were actually juicing more power and doing coil overs on it..
