Browsing Auto Trader.com, I looked up MB heres what I found...
I found a couple 05' - 09' SLRs starting at 450,000 to 250,000. Now a little bit down the page, what do I see? 3 2011 SLS' for what? $220k.
How is that possible? I thought that the SLS' were a lot more expensive then the SLRs?
1. SLS is new.
2. Faster.
3. Sexier.
So Whats up with that?

They were never more expensive than the SLR. I'm pretty sure the base MSRP is around $180k? I'm also pretty sure the SLR is faster than the SLS.

They're completely different types of cars and as was said above they were never more expensive than the SLR.

Base price is around 185k for the SLS

SLR will always be above standard SLS....but def cannot wait to see what RENNtech can do to the future L4P SLS BS....

You are wrong on all counts, SLR has always been more than double the price of the SLS. The 2 cars are NOT even in the same league but I got to say they are both beautiful none the less.

yea man, one important thing about the SLR is that it was a team effort by both Germany's Mercedes and England's Mclaren. A collectors car in the near future.
