Thread: G550

Thought id better get around and post up a few pics of my new (to me) 2010 G550. It came in to a local dealer we have a relationship with as a trade in and i couldn't pass on the deal. I have had it for the past two months and couldn't be happier.

Good looking truck! What comes next ? any upgrades?

Thank you. I am going to wait until the spring. I will most likely upgrade the wheels but i want to keep a good amount of rubber on her, so i am not too sure what size of rim i will move into. I have to keep it the same height as i am cutting it close with my buildings underground.

I love the G-Class... Its just has such presence! I think the Brabus Monoblock VI in 20" would look so good on there... and keep plenty of meat on the road just like you requested...

We have a long relationship with the richmond mb dealer. Did you get yours sourced from Urbangarage? i saw that they brought a white one in. Your g looks great on those KMCs. Def different.

I remember seeing a black 2010 at the Lamborghini dealership so I thought yours might of been it. I did get mine from Urbangarage but it was ordered from the Nanamio Benz dealer. Nobody had a G550 allocation so we had to get one from a private dealership (Nanamio is Private and most of the other dealers are corprate) It was pretty hard to order one lol
I didn't want to go with the big 22 or 24" wheel so I decided to go for a tire that was a little more aggresive for offroad with smaller rims. I'm really happy that I stuck with 20" wheels, the ride is still great and there is no tire nosie. Also these tires have good reviews in winter.

Have you decided what your going to do for wheels? There is a set of chrome 24" wheels for sale in Vancouver that my friend almost bought, I think they are on CL.

On a side note, my buddy that has the 07 G55 is buying a 1985 G Cabrio this weekend. I'm going on the road trip with him to pick it up, it should be pretty cool to see and ride in this old G Cab!!
