Fully built E55 AMG
Johnny Broadway checking in here!!!!
Here's an E55 AMG with about 50K miles on it. It's owned by the owner of a local Mercedes Benz dealer. I have built dozens and dozens of AMG cars for many different guys, but this particualr build was very flattering to do. The guy owns a $30,000,000 Mercedes dealership with a shop only 20X the size of mine. I'm sure he was going to have his techs comb through the car to see what they think after I was finished. So the pressure was on to build a super reliable beast. The owner of the dealership took the car in on trade, and it had a Renntech pulley and ECU tune. I took delivery of the car and first thing I did was strap it to a Dynojet and it pumped out 441rwhp and 515rwtq. Not horrible numbers. Stock, these cars make around 400rwhp/400rwtq.
Our new mod list was as follows:
Eurocharged Upgraded Torque Converter
Eurocharged 82mm Throttle Body Kit
Eurocharged 180mm Performance Crank Pulley
Eurocharged Long Tube Headers
Custom BP catless midpipe, which was tig welded/v-band clamped/heated coated/wrapped
Custom Modified Renntech Mufflers to bolt on to my midpipe
Eurocharged Heat Exchanger
Eurocharged Stage 3 Tune
Johnson Cm30 Intercooler pump
Michelin Pilot Sport 2 tires all around with 275's in the back on the stock wheels
Adjustable Suspension links removed and stock links reinstalled
4 calipers removed/painted red/reinstalled
We finished all this work on the car in 3 weeks, from drop off, to delivery back at the dealer! This includes removing the trans, sending the guys at Eurocharged the torque converter, having it modified, and having them send it back.
Going back to the dynojet after everything was finished, it made 501rwhp/575rwtq! The car pulls strong and sounds crisp when blasting through the gears on the highway! With the longtubes and a full 3 inch custom exhaust, it sounds amazing under boost. The upgraded TC makes the car amazing to drive and it puts the power down with pretty good with the PS2's.
It was great watchng the owner rip the car up and down the highway in front of the dealer. All the sales guys, some clients, and myself were inside the dealer watching and listening through the glass windows as he flew/roared by every time! The sales guys were flipping out!!!! The people at the dealer and especially the owner want me to make a brochure so that they can hand it out to anyone that comes through with a performance MB.Only the BEST will happen to you.
