Thread: 2010 E63 AMG and E-class Coupe bodies...your thoughts

Honestly, why make an E-class coupe when you have the CLK????? Beats the hell out of me, maybe someone can explain this to me.

by the way, does the left side full shot of the 63 resemble the 2008 VW Jetta or am i going crazy?

1. The new e-coupe IS the new clk and is one of the most gorgeous cars I've ever seen
2. It looks nothing like a jetta
3. Get out of the house

Love the E-coupe, hate the E-sedan. I think they screwed up both the exterior and interior on the sedan. The interior looks all plasticy like a C-class, and the exterior is too boxy and not athletic looking enough.

i can kind of see what you're seeing in that first pic. at first glance the left side reminded me of the jetta. and i was under the impression that the clk would discontinued and replaced by the e class coupe. i could be wrong.

it looks nothing like the jetta to me.

hm what also is interessting is the new e-cab which is a softtop though

I hope I grow to like that body because currently, I hate it. Worse than Porsche and their 4 door.

They made an E-class coupe because the CLK coupe right now is unofficially considered the E-class coupe, all they did was rename it to the correct name.

This also allows MB to bring in a new C-Class coupe model to compete directly with the 3 series coupe.

Personally i really dont know what Mercedes was thinking, the front end looks like a Lexus GS and the back looks like a Hyundai Genesis. I dont understand why they are going with this whole square look, just like the horrendous GLK.
