The older 05-08 tail lights look rather dated. The new 09+ QPs come with LEDs so I figured I try to update the look of my 05 QP. Now on with the crappy iphone pics...

Its Larani, but with oval tip. Its actually the first one they produced. I wanted a look like the new QP GTS. So I asked Jeff @ Formula Dynamics to contact Larani to see if they can tool an oval tip. It took over 6 months for me to finally receive them and im happy with them, sound great. I believe after my setup, they have begun to take orders on oval tips.

I was thinking about tinting them, but what would be a good film to use? I want something very light, just to darken them about a shade or two.

No errors on the dash board. I ordered the wiring harness from Monty and everything seems fine. I do think there is an issue with the 07-08 models about them throwing the dash code. Did yours throw the code?

Ahhh... that is right. I got mine from Monty as well. But I have an 07 and it throws a code. This is SilverCi from the "other" board BTW. Just found this board last night!


As far as film, go with the Lamin-X stuff... really good. I put 6% on mine and think it looks great. Just enough to take the bright edge off. I did the headlights with it too.

Great new touch! I really like the colour of the rawti to, dont see many like that, Nice!

Now that I think about it.... I ordered the 07 and just realized that the tint wasn't quite a PERFECT fit. That is because the lights are 09-10 ! So if you order, order for an 09-10. As you can see the white part is slightly indented so i'm about a few millimeters short on the edges because of this. I imagine the 09-10 have that extra couple mm.

Great upgrade lights do a ton! ...awesome sound as well- gotta convince mr. coi to get this exhaust!

Instead of Gucci Print, i want some Maserati Print!
