Default Whats the Proper way to break in a New Maserati?

Hi guys, I just bought a new 2011 Maserati Grand Cabrio back in January. Since I live in Michigan I havent taken delivery of it yet because of the weather, but hopefully I will be able to pick it up within the next month. I have never gotten a new exotic car before, so I am really just curious on the proper way to break one in. I know the ferrari drivetrains can be somewhat tempermental at times and i am just unsure if there is anything specific i should do while breaking the cars engine in.

    Thanks

    Calvin

The break-in is propably done at the factory. Ask your dealer about it

My dad has had two QPs so far. One that was brand new and drove it 40k+miles with no "break in" and never had a problem with it. It's up to you if you want to break in your car but I believe it's not really necessary. Just my 2 cents..

The break in is done to achieve full potential of the car and to ensure long life for the engine. I dont want to buy a car thats been beaten to death by its previous owner.

If you baby it from the start you won't get full potential from it.

Main thing is to vary the load and revs. Realisticly it won't take long, just make sure you change the oil and filter early.

I assume that most will be 'run in' from the factory anyway.
